Nifty Bank extends gains for 3rd straight session; Federal Bank, BoB, PNB shares surge up to 2%

Bank stocks recorded gains on April 16, pushing the Nifty Bank index higher in the green for the third consecutive session. This comes despite bulls losing grip of the market, with benchmark indices standing flat a day after massive gains.
